Entre février 1973 et octobre 1977, QUEEN se produit à six reprises à la BBC. Ces témoignages, réunis sous le nom « On Air », restaurés par Kris Fredriksson, ingénieur du son du groupe, et remasterisés par Adam Ayan, récompensé par un Grammy pour son travail, sortiront le 4 novembre cez Virgin / EMI sous différents formats : double CD, triple vinyl et édition deluxe 6 CD. Cette dernière offrira de nombreux bonus : live enregistré au Golders Green Hippodrome en septembre 1973, à Sao Paulo au Brésil en 1981 ainsi que des extraits de leur concert à Mannheim en Allemagne en juin 1986 pendant le “Magic Tour”. Sans oublier un livret agrémenté de photos rares et de notes ainsi que des interviews pour faire bonne mesure.
